Government of Goa would float
global tenders for the second
international airport to come up at
Mopa in north Goa within six
months. The BOOT project is estimated
to cost

2,500 crore and
will be operational by 2015. The
state government is in the
process of acquiring the land.
Presently, Goa has one international
airport at Dabolim, which is
operated and maintained by the
Indian Navy.
