H& R Johnson (India), a division of Prism Cement, has inked a joint venture pact with Small Tiles Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of ceramic glazed floor tiles. With this venture, H&R Johnson (India) has acquired a 50 per cent stake in Small Tiles. As per the agreement, Small Tiles will manufacture and supply tiles to H&R Johnson. These tiles would focus on the Northern, Central, Eastern and the overseas market. The Small Tiles plant has an annual capacity of 2.3 million per annum and manufactures floor tiles in 12" x 12", 16" x 16" and 24" x 24" sizes.
