NSL Mining to set up iron ore plant at Kurnool

NSL Mining Resources plans to set up an iron ore beneficiation plant at Veerayapalli in Betamcherla Mandal in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The plant with an annual capacity one million tonne will be set up at a cost of Rs 11 crore. The plant will be located on 4.92 hectares of land owned by the company. The raw materials for the plant will be procured from two mines that are operated and owned by NSL. The upgraded iron ore produced will be sold to the domestic steel industries. The company has utilised Chinese technology for beneficiating low grade iron ore to high grade iron ore. Plans are on to construct one of the most advanced plants in India.
