Ltd, has invited RfQ for
setting up a 1.6-MW small
hydropower project on Dronpara
river in Boko sub-division
of Kamrup district in Assam.
The BOOT project is estimated
to cost

13.8 crore.
APPDCL, a joint venture of
Government of Assam and
IL&FS, has been mandated by
the state government to implement
the project and to invite
bids on its behalf for procurement
of power on a long-term
basis.
The scope of work includes
design, engineer, finance, construct,
operate, maintain, and
manage the project during the
concession period of 35 years.
The project is expected to commence
generation by 24 months
from the date of achieving financial
closure. Financial close
shall be achieved within six
months from signing of the PPA.
The DPR is ready, while PPA and
power evacuation arrangements
have been finalised. The project
is eligible for MNRE and CDM
benefits.
The cost of bid document is

10,000 and the last date for submission
of bids is March 30.
