Usher Eco Power to set up 18MW power plant

Usher Eco Power Limited (UEPL) is planning to set up 18MW power plant based on biomass fuels (primarily rice husk) at Chhata, Mathura in UP. The company has already commissioned 16 MW power plant recently and the proposed plant will be located near this plant.
The total estimated cost for setting up 18 MW power plant is Rs.97 crore which is proposed to be funded through Initial Public Offering proceeds to the extent of Rs.67 crore and the balance through a debt of Rs.30 crore.
