Atlas Copco (India) Ltd, a subsidiary
of Sweden’s Atlas
Copco AB, plans to expand its
product range in the construction
and mining segment.
The company manufactures air
and gas compressors, C&M and
industrial tools and assembly
systems, and has three facilities
located in Pune, Nashik and
Hyderabad. The company's air
and gas compressor plant is
located in Pune while the C&M
plant is located in Nashik.
With an aim to expand its product
range, the company is in the
process of finalising product
development plans in C&M segment
for the next five years. The
products, currently being manufactured
in Japan, are to be manufactured
in Nashik facility.
Meanwhile, Atlas Copco
recently celebrated its 50th year
of operations in India. During
this time, the company has
become the country's leading
supplier of air and gas compressors,
construction and mining
equipment, and industrial tools
and assembly systems.
