Established in 1992, Malu Electrodes
Pvt. Ltd is engaged in
manufacturing and exporting of
welding electrodes and wires such
as MS electrodes, SS electrodes,
hard facing electrodes, Mig wires
(CO2 wires) and other allied products.
The company has been manufacturing
mild steel welding
electrodes under the brand name
of 'Mangalam' and 'High Tide'.
Malu Electrodes is a part of the
P.R. Malu Group engaged in several
business activities such as
coal trading, newsprint and Kraft
paper, manganese ore processing,
steel ingots and casting of various
alloy grades.
Considering the vast potential of
the market, the promoters of Malu
Electrodes Pvt. Ltd have set up
integrated welding electrodes
manufacturing units. The units
have a capacity of 36,000 tpa of
welding electrodes.
The first welding electrodes
plant commenced production in
1992 and since then the company
has five manufacturing facilitiesfour
in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and
one in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
MEPL's electrodes are used in
various projects viz. housing, fabrication,
boiler and project erection,
dams and hydropower
plants, roads, bridges, shipbuilding
yards, SEZ, cross-country
pipelines, airports etc.
The company's dealer network
is spread across Maharashtra,
Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh,
Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu,
Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand,
Uttar Pradesh, Himachal
Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana,
Delhi, Rajasthan, Assam, West
Bengal and Orissa.
