MIC Electronics Ltd has bagged orders for supply of LED displays to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium & the Srifort Stadium for the Common Wealth Games 2010 to be held at New Delhi from October 3rd to 14th 2010. The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will be the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the games.

The contract was awarded to MIC Electronics by Pico, the event managers for the Games. The LED display screens, which boost of Nichia LEDs, are the flagship products of MIC Electronics.

A total of 19 LED screens will be installed at the two stadiums, 12 of which will be of 600 sqft area. The remaining 7 will have a smaller area of 150 sqft each. Under the contract, MIC will install about 8000 sqft of Indoor as well as Outdoor Screens at the two stadiums.
