
Hiranandani Group plans to
set up a multi-speciality hospital
in Thane district of
Maharashtra.
Making the announcement,
Group CEO Niranjan Hiranandani
said that the
Mumbai-based
real estate enterprise
would set up
a 200-bed hospital
at an estimated
cost of

200 crore.
"We believe that
the hospital developed
by us at
Powai in Mumbai
has credited us
with a lot of expertise
and experience to set up hospitals
which are second to none
in the world," Hiranandani said.
The proposed hospital is
designed by Hafeez Contractor
and Peridian Asia Pte Ltd of Singapore,
a renowned architecture
firm. It will be constructed on
two acres of land. The hospital
will cater to Thane and surrounding
areas like Ghodbunder
Road, Dahisar, Navi Mumbai
and even as far as Nashik.

The hospital is
planned to be a centre
of excellence
focusing on cardiac
care, orthopaedics,
cancer care, obstetrics,
gynaecology,
human reproduction
and dental care.
In addition, there
will be a special
focus on elder care,
home care, preventive
care, foot care, diabetes and
wound healing.
The medical facility is expected
to be operational in the next
24 months.
