
Cairn Energy India Pty
Ltd, on behalf of its joint
venture partners Cairn
Energy Hydrocarbons
Ltd and ONGC Ltd, is constructing
prefabricated and
RCC framed buildings for
workshop/maintenance shopcum-
office and warehouse at
Mangala Process Terminal
near Barmer in Rajasthan.
Cairn had recently invited
EOI for this project, which also
includes all associated civil,
electrical, HVAC, fire protection,
plumbing and other utility
works.
The scope of work involves
engineering, procurement, construction,
installation, testing
and commissioning of buildings
and associated utility services
systems inside the Mangala
Process Terminal.
The buildings, to be constructed
with prefabricated superstructure,
are maintenance and
fabrication shops and A/C
warehouse, while petroleum
engineering workshop, PSV
testing building and environment
laboratory will be RCC
framed structures.
The total plinth area of the
buildings is 3,750 sq. metres
with internal and peripheral
electrification works including
panels, cabling and fixtures,
gantry girders for cranes, civil
works for foundations, flooring
rooms, carpentry and other
building systems, plumbing
and sanitation systems for the
buildings, HVAC system, fire
protection, IT and communication
system, and connections to
all utility services.
Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd is
the operator of the control area
RJ-ON-90/1 in Rajasthan. The
company is developing the
Mangala Oil and Raageshwari
Gas Fields following a successful
oil discovery in the area.
