The proprietor, P.D. Deshpande,
a graduate in Mechanical
Engineering, worked with
Mahindra Owen Ltd as a design
engineer, where he obtained
extensive experience in design
of trailers involving structures,
auto components, hydraulics
and pneumatics. Mahindra
Owen Ltd, a collaboration
between Mahindra & Mahindra
Ltd and Rubery Owen Ltd of UK,
were premier manufacturers of
trailers in India at the time.
