The Andhra Pradesh government
has invited global EOIcum-
RfQ to appoint an independent
engineer for the Hyderabad
Metro Rail Project. The
71.61-km long mass rapid transit
system is being developed on
DBFOT basis in PPP mode. It will
have the following three corridors:
Miyapur to L.B. Nagar
(28.87 km), JBS to Falaknuma
(14.78 km) and Nagole to
Shilparamam (27.51 km). The
estimated cost of the project is

12,132 crore.
The government has selected
the concessionaire and finalised
the concession agreement. The
project now requires a qualified
and competent consultant to oversee
the project implementation.
The last date of submission of
EOI is September 23.
