Alstom T&D India has received contracts worth

224 crore for two different
projects. One is a

74-crore order from Jyoti Structures Ltd for supply
of equipment for Jabalpur and Nellore 765kV substation projects of
PGCIL, in Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The scope includes
supply of products like circuit breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers,
current transformers and captive voltage transformers for several
765/400 kV substations. The second order, worth

150 crore, is from
Jaypee Group for supply of high voltage power transformers. The scope
includes design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning
of 765kV generator transformers, interconnecting transformers, lines
and bus reactors.
McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd has won two orders from
BHEL for civil, structural and architectural works and balance civil
works for boiler auxiliaries foundation for R&M job of Barauni TPS -
Extension Project (Units 8&9) at Begusarai, Bihar,(

139.36 crore);
and from Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd for supply of equipment (shop
manufactured mechanical items) and technological structures, detail
design, engineering (mechanical), erection and construction of civil,
structural and mechanical work of the recovery coke oven plant and
byproduct plant of Bhushan's plant at Rengali in Sambalpur, Odisha
(

150 crore).
Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd has secured new orders totalling

804.79 crore for construction of residential, institutional, hotel, retail and
industrial building including electrical plumbing and firefighting services.
These include residential building (

403.85 crore), construction of hotels
(

132.18 crore), construction of institutional building (

100.50 crore), construction
of industrial building (

38.29 crore), construction of retail (

36.24
crore), and construction of infrastructure (

31 crore). Orders in services
segment like electromechanical, plumbing and firefighting worth

62.73
crore were also bagged during the period.
ABB has won an order worth

75 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation
Ltd to provide power solutions for metro rail network for Jaipur in
Rajasthan. The turnkey order, booked in the first quarter, includes design,
supply, installation and commissioning of essential power infrastructure
for stage 1 of the East-West Corridor of the Jaipur Mass Rapid Transport
System. This section will serve eight passenger stations. ABB will supply
11 auxiliary substations with a rating of 33kV/415V.
PSL Ltd has bagged an order worth

570 crore from IndianOil for manufacture
of pipes and provisions of ancillary coating services towards the
Salaya-Mathura pipeline de-bottlenecking project. The company will supply
28 inch diameter coated steel pipes of X-70 grade and upto 40 feet in
length. These supplies will be made from the company's already geared
up plants at Jaipur in Rajasthan and Kandla in Gujarat.
