won new orders worth

1,018 crore in the power
transmission, railway
and cable segments.
In the transmission segment,
the company secured three
orders worth

540 crore for the
construction of 765kV transmission
lines from Rajasthan Rajya
Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd,
Power Grid Corporation of India
Ltd and Eskom, South Africa.
For the Rajasthan power utility,
KEC will lay a 765kV transmission
line between Anta (Baran)-
Phagi
(Jaipur) on
a turnkey
basis (

313
crore). This
is the first
7 6 5 k V
transmission
line
being constructed
by
any state utility in India.
For PGCIL, the company will
supply and construct a 765kV
single circuit transmission line
between Angul-Jharsuguda
Pooling Station (Jharsugudaend)
associated with transmission
system strengthening of
phase-I generation projects in
Orissa (

130 crore).

KEC will construct a 765kV
transmission line between
Gamma-Kappa on a turnkey
basis for Eskom in South Africa
(

97 crore).
In addition, KEC's wholly
owned subsidiary SAE Towers
secured

246 crore worth of supply
orders in the Americas. This
represents transmission tower
orders from USA, Canada, Mexico,
Brazil and Argentina worth

208 crore, and transmission
line related hardware orders
from Brazil worth

38 crore
In the railway segment, KEC
won various orders for civil
works from Indian Railways
worth

97 crore while, in the
cable segment, it bagged supply
orders for telecom cables as well
as low tension, high tension and
extra high voltage power cables
worth

135 crore.
With these new orders and execution
up to last month, the company's
order book stands at

7,400 crore, its highest ever.

business segments. This quarter
has been very good for our

orders, our total order intake
for the quarter reaches approximately
