Drilling equipment company Revathi Equipment Ltd, has forayed into concrete equipment segment with the commissioning of its new plant at Gummidipoondi in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu. The plant set up at a cost of Rs 30 crore, has a capacity to manufacture 1,500 transit mixers, 300 concrete pumps & 150 batching plants.
The company has signed technology agreements with three German companies -- Wiggert & Co for batching plants, Intermix for transit mixers and Weitzinger for concrete pumps & and truck mounted pumps.
The company also has a manufacturing facility for blast hole drills for the mining industry at Coimbatore.
