The WPI of lead ingots declined 8% during the second week of June. The WPI of steel ingots and zinc ingots (6% each), alloy stainless steel and electronic IC (2% each), nickel alloy and alloy steel casting (1% each), and cement (marginal) also eased over the week. However, the WPI of motorcycles and other automobile spare parts (4% each) and zinc (3%) rose during the week. The ERIL Index of Cost of Project Inputs declined 6.9% annually by June 13 against 12.8% rise a year ago.
