secured new orders worth

segments. These include

723 crore orders in transmission
business,

253 crore orders
in power systems for substation
works,

123 crore orders in
water business,

105 crore in
cables business, and

49 crore in
telecom business.
Transmission - Construction of 110kV/132kV
double circuit overhead transmission
lines (68 km) and
underground cable works (13
km) on a turnkey basis for Saudi
Electricity Company, at a cost of
310 crore and to be executed in
21 months.
- Supply of 345kV transmission
towers from Isolux Ingenieria
S-A, valued at
155 crore and to
be executed in 12 months.
- Construction of 220kV double
circuit overhead transmission
lines between Kunduz SiTaloqan
substations on turnkey
basis in consortium for Da
Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat
valued at
l32 crore in which
KEC's portion stands at
104
crore. The contract completion
period is 18 months.
Besides, SAE Towers, the wholly
owned subsidiary of the company;
has secured various orders for
tower supply from USA, Mexico
and Brazil, The total value of these
orders is

l54 crore.
Power systems - Construction of three
220/132kV substations along
with associated interconnecting
transmission lines for Olkarla
IV and Olkaria I power stations
from Kenya Electricity
Generating Company Ltd (Ken-
Gen) valued at
141 crore and to
be completed in 27 months.
- Construction of 400kV/220kV
Tumkur New AIS substation
and 400kV Gooti substation
extension in Karnataka for
59
crore from PGCIL, to be completed
in 24 months.
- In Philippines, the company has
entered into substation business
and secured two orders from the
National Grid Corporation of
Philippines, which consists of
230kV substation work in Lumban
and 135kV substation work
in Colon-Cebu. The total value
of these orders is
53 crore and
the contractual completion is 12
months for each.
Water
In the water business, the company
has secured six new
orders to the tune of

123 crore.
Out of these, five orders are
from Madhya Pradesh for construction
of canals from the
state water resources department
and one order from West
Bengal for flood protection
works from the state irrigation
and waterways department.
Cables
In the cable business, the company
has secured various orders for supply
of power cables and telecom
cables at a total value of

105 crore.
Telecom
Establishment of a 2,200-km
optical power ground wire communication
network under hotline
conditions in the eastern
region in India, including supply
and stringing of OPGW
cable and test equipment, from
PGCIL for

49 crore.
