Haryana plans 151-km road corridor

The Haryana government has proposed construction of a 151-km long road corridor running from Rajasthan border to various towns of the state. The Rai- Malikpur -Narnaul-Mahendragarh-Dadri-Bhiwani-Kharak road corridor is to be constructed at a cost of 1201.70 crore on Design, Build, Finance, Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) basis, through Public-Private Partnership mode. The bidding process for selection the developer to award the project has already commenced. The selected bidder would be responsible for designing, engineering, financing, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of the project in a time-bound manner.
