Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd has
invited proposals from consultants for preparing
the feasibility study report and bankable
detailed project report, including assistance in
arranging the techno-economic clearance from
central departments and agencies, for the 520-
mw Nakthan HEP, 141-mw Thana Plaun HEP and
78-mw Beri Nichali HEP in Himachal Pradesh.
Nakthan HEP is contemplated as a run-of-river
scheme with 520 mw hydropower generation on
Parbati river utilising the waters of Parbati river
and Tosh Nallah, a tributary of Parbati located
about 58 km from Bhuntar in Kullu district.
Thana Plaun HEP is contemplated as a storage
scheme on river Beas in Mandi district on Mandi-
Hamirpur highway, about 40 km from Mandi town.
Beri Nichali HEP is contemplated as a downstream
development of Thana Plaun HEP on river Beas in
Mandi and Kangra districts. The barrage site is
approachable from Baijnath in Kangra and is
approximately 30 km from Baijnath.
The last date of submission of all the three bids in
January 21, 2011. |
