
Bharathi Cement, a leading
cement manufacturer of
Hyderabad, announced that
Line No.2 at Nallalingayapalli
village in Kadapa district of
Andhra Pradesh had commenced
production as per the
schedule. With this,
the capacity of the
cement plant has gone up from
2.5 million tpa to 5 million tpa.
The plant is directly linked to
rail and road networks between
Hyderabad, Bengaluru and
Chennai, and will supply to the
markets of Andhra Pradesh,
Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala,
Maharashtra, Goa, Pondicherry,
and Andaman & Nicobar.
The plant, which has limestone
reserves for more than 100
years, has state-of-the-art technology
with robotic quality control
that ensures consistent quality of
cement in every bag. The plant
also complies with environmental
standards as well
as Indian and international
safety standards.
Bharathi Cement, a subsidiary
of Vicat Group of
France, produces OPC 43
Grade, OPC 53 Grade and Portland
Pozzolana Cement, and is
shortly planning to launch
Portland Slag Cement.
