ICSA India Ltd, along with its lead consortium partner Dongfang Electronics Company Ltd, China, has received three Letters of Intent totalling Rs73.40 crore from three distribution utilities to establish SCADA/DMS projects in five cities in Madhya Pradesh under R-APDRP scheme. The projects are from MP Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd, Indore, for implementing SCADA/DMS system in Indore and Ujjain at a cost of Rs23.33 crore; in Bhopal and Gwalior for MP Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd, Bhopal, at a cost of Rs38.09 crore; and MP Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd, Jabalpur, at a cost of Rs11.98 crore.

IT hardware firm HCL Infosystems Ltd has won a project to implement automation, computerisation and integration solutions at 22 border check posts in Maharashtra. The project, awarded by Sadbhav Infrastructure Ltd, entails design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the system for the next 10 years.

REpower, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon Group, has signed deals for a total of 35 mw to supply wind turbines for Hall Farm, developed by Ridgewind/HG Capital, and Earls Hall Farm, developed by Renerco, in the UK. The 10.25-mw wind farm at Earls Hall Farm near Clacton-on-Sea in Essex will see REpower supply five MM92 turbines. The larger development at Hall Farm, located 5 km north of Beverly, North Humberside, will have a capacity of 24.6 mw, and consist of 12 MM82 REpower turbines.
