The Panvel flyover being constructed in Navi Mumbai by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority at a cost of 140 crore is expected to be completed by the first week of June. The 2.4-km long and 17-metre wide flyover will have two lanes each for up and down traffic. It will begin at Ashoka Lawn and end 300 meters before the Gandhi Hospital junction. The flyover will ease travel to Pune by the NH-4-the old Mumbai- Pune Road which passes through Panvel.
