Railways is moving away from the age-old slogan of "help us to serve you better" to "help yourself and get served". According to a recent news report, Indian Railways is planning to provide every first-class passenger a phenyl pouch which he is supposed to use to clean the toilet before he uses it! One wonders whether it is an amenity provided to the passenger or a punishment for traveling by Indian Railways and that too in first class.

Food provided by the Indian Railways is also often found to be unhygienic and phenyl pouch can come in handy there too!
