The Andhra Pradesh Road
Development Corporation Ltd
has invited global bids
[15/APRDC/APRSP/W&S/KS-
05/2012] for widening and
strengthening of Kandi-Shadnagar
Road in Telangana region
from km 0/165 to 68/400. The construction
period is 30 months.
The scope of work involves
widening and strengthening of
existing lanes to a standard fourlane
road divided carriageway
with earthen shoulder with longitudinal
drain on both sides and
new construction in realigned
sections roadway.
The cross-drainage works
include reconstruction and
widening of culverts and bridges.
Miscellaneous work includes provision
of protection measures for
cut slope, construction of retaining
walls, breast walls and wing
walls, road furniture etc.
The Government of India has
received a loan from International
Bank for Reconstruction
and Development towards the
cost of the Andhra Pradesh Road
Sector Project and a part of this
loan will be used for payments
under the contract.
The cost of bid document is

28,625 and EMD is

2.27 crore.
