Boeing to set up MRO facility in Nagpur

Air India has signed a land lease
agreement with Maharashtra
Airport Development Company
Ltd for transfer of land for its proposed
maintenance-repair-overhaul
facility in Nagpur. The agreement,
signed on June 15, will
facilitate transfer of 50 acres of
land to Air India for the project.
Air India has formed a joint venture
with US-based Boeing to set
up the project at the upcoming
SEZ near Nagpur at an investment
of around Rs 500 crore to be
spread over next three years.
Boeing is likely to assist in constructing
and equipping the
MRO facility
