The government has approved an integrated sewerage project for Bhubaneswar under Urban Infrastructure & Governance (UIG) Sub-Mission of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). The project is estimated to cost Rs 49,891.35 lakh and has received Additional Central Assistance (ACA) commitment of Rs 39,913.08 lakh.
Besides, a sewerage project for the city of Sambalpur has also been approved under Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small and Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) of JNNURM with approved cost of Rs 593.23 lakh and Additional Central Assistance (ACA) commitment of Rs 483.48 lakh.
