Kashi Vishwanath Dham projectConstruction work has commenced on the Kashi Vishwanath Dham project in Uttar Pradesh. PSP Projects has been assigned the contract for the project under supervision of the Public Works Department. It is slated to be completed in 18 months.

Before commencement of the construction, the state government had approved revised budget of the project from Rs 318.6 crore to Rs 347.5 crore by including GST cost and some other components. The project was approved by the Uttar Pradesh government in December 2017.

After purchasing over 70 percent buildings of 296 structures identified for demolition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid foundation of the project on 9 March 2019. It is proposed to come up on an area of 5.30 lakh sq ft.
