constructionCentral Public Works Department has invited bids for construction of main campus in Phase-1C of Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu in Jammu & Kashmir on EPC basis.

The scope of work includes construction of engineering block, lecture theater complex, workshop, sport complex building, 560 single seater hostel, dining block, 52 Type-III and 80 Type-V quarters, three electric sub-station buildings.

It also involves providing internal water supply, sanitary installations and electrical works; retaining walls and slope stabilisation, storm water drains, roads, paths, cycle tracks, UG sumps, external water supply and irrigation lines, sewerage system, electric substations equipments, firefighting, fire alarm system, DG sets, HVAC, CCTV, access control, LAN and data networking, UPS system, public address system, audio & visual system.

Apart from this, the work includes setting up integrated BMS system including SCADA, MRL lifts, facade lighting, kitchen equipments, STP, WTP, ETP, pump sets, HVLS fans, solar hot water system, solid waste management system, HSD fuel storage & pumping system, rain water harvesting pond & collection sumps etc.

The estimated value of the work is Rs 609.45 crore with completion period of 24 months.
