Daimler AG has started bus sales in India with handing over the first set of buses to customers in Mumbai on 16 November, 2015. Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, handed over the first set of BharatBenz staff buses to customers in Mumbai. Daimler Buses India Managing Director, Markus Villinger sees great potential in the Indian market, especially with the impetus of infrastructure and smart city projects and even want to provide a ride that is safe and comfortable for passengers and the driver.
