TÜV SÜD South Asia has launched its first state-of-the-art environmental testing laboratory in Delhi recently.

The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories accredited laboratory is now recognised by the Ministry of Environment & Forests and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The environmental laboratory comes at a juncture when Indian businesses are gearing up to build sustainability at core of their business model. The laboratory would cater to the needs of the Indian corporates, who have decided to adapt the path of sustainability and simultaneously emphasise on better practices and advanced levels of transparency.

Environmental lab in Delhi_ProjectsMonitorThe laboratory is fully equipped to provide a wide range of services like air and water testing, waste water testing, pesticides residue in water, soil & waste, ambient air/ indoor air monitoring, compressed air testing, stack monitoring, soil analysis, sludge analysis, solid waste analysis, petroleum products and solid and liquid fuels. The laboratory will also offer value added services like sampling pick-up, technical support and training support.

Speaking at the occasion, Bratin Roy, Associate Vice President and Head, Energy and Environment Services, TÜV SÜD South Asia said, “Today businesses are working towards an extending business models to integrate sustainability as a critical element to drive bottom line growth. This laboratory will cater to the environmental and testing needs of a wide range of sectors and be the epicentre of the company’s environmental services in South Asia.”
