Hyderabad, April 26, 2018: Hyderabad based Robo sand Promoters, which created a niche for itself in the green construction products domain, announced its foray into precast partition wall panels segment through Robomatic Precon Pvt. Ltd., at a press conference on Thursday, here. This is the first such production facility in South India and only second in India. With this innovative solution the company strengthens its presence in the green construction products segment.
Robomatic Precon Pvt. Ltd., has set up a fully automated state-of-the-art precast partition walls manufacturing facility on a three-acre land at Lemoor village in RR District. The plant has been imported from Elematic, Finland –leaders in Precast Technology, which has presence in more than 100 countries. The technical knowhow is from Acotec Finland.
Robomatic Precast walls are thick hollow‐core, non‐load‐bearing wall elements. They are made of normal concrete and are a good alternative to bricks and blocks. The plant has acapacity to produce 2.4 lakhs Sq.Mt., high‐quality elements in a year. The entire manufacturing process is eco-friendly with least pollution.
These walls can be used in all kinds of housing applications as internal walls that require thermal and sound insulation in small, large, high rise buildings and residential villas. Precast walls present tremendous advantage, they are a substitute for bricks, save on time and energy, don’t need plastering, curing etc. It facilitates smarter design and aids the builders and architects to expedite the project completion. A wall using this technique can be installed seven times faster than the conventional brick laying work.
The product will be made available across India and we plan to expand based on the market requirements in other Indian cities in the near future. However, our immediate thrust is on Hyderabad, says Mr Vijay K. Kosaraju, Managing Director, Robomatic Precon Pvt. Ltd. From Hyderabad market alone, we are confident to generate a business of around 2.5 lakh square meters, in the very first year of commencement. Our outlook is positive and expect a 50% growth year on year, volume wise, thereafter. We plan to open our second unit in the existing premises in six months’ time, commission a plant in Amaravathi in a year and in Bangalore within the next two years, he adds.
The Company will leverage its sales network from existing businesses to reach out to the market. Ithas plans to conduct demo trials at customer sites to win their confidence and enable them to shift from the conventional brick work. The Company sees tremendous growth potential in this business and has made provision to expand for a second line of production in the existing facility. It also has plans to install production facilities in other parts of the country, depending on the demand.
The price being on par with conventional brick work, we don’t see much resistance from our potential customers. The labor-intensive construction industry will appreciate the advantages of these ready-made walls, says Mr Anand Yerra, Executive Director, Robomatic. Faster completion also means faster realization on investments for Construction Industry, which is often reeling in debts due to delay in projects, this could be the panacea they are looking for, he adds.
