Many people might have lost their lives, including some prominent political leaders, in the recent Maoists attack at Bastar in Chhattisgarh, but our Minister for Home Affairs who was holidaying in USA was in no hurry to return. This created an embarrassing situation for his partymen and evoked sarcastic comments from opposition party members. They were giving the example of David Cameron who was recently touring France which he cut short midway upon hearing the death of a British soldier by Muslim fundamentalists.But our Home Minster is elated – at last the media has become aware of his status and is being compared with none other than the British Premier!
Shinde now says that he stayed back in USA to get his eyes tested; after all, the Home Minister needs sharp eyes to prevent any such events from recurring! But Mr. Shinde, do you need an eye specialist to open your eyes?
