The proposed Dronagiri Node of Navi Mumbai SEZ will get a big boost with the announcement of mega infrastructure projects like the special economic zone at JNPT, international airport and Mumbai Trans Harbour Line, Rajesh Prajapati, Managing Director, Prajapati Group, a leading developer of Navi Mumbai and Raigad, said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently laid the foundation stone of the Rs. 4,000-crore port-based multi-product SEZ and the Rs. 1,900-crore Port Connectivity Highway Project at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Raigad district of Maharashtra.
Prajapati said that Dronagri provided affordability, connectivity, proximity, social infrastructure to the people. The demand for affordable housing had made the region the most promising residential market in the Mumbai Metropolitcan Region. The announcement of these projects in and around Dronagiri was expected to propel property prices and this was the right time to invest.
“These projects will open up the real estate market and create huge employment opportunities as the SEZ project is expected to create 1.5 lakh direct and indirect jobs for the local youth, and help them to lead a better life,” Prajapati added.
Prajapati Group’s two upcoming projects, Prajapati Magnum and Prajapati Vihar, have received the necessary clearances and are equipped with all the basic and luxury amenities.
