IL&FS Transportation Networks has signed a concession agreement with the Roads & Building Department, Government of Gujarat, for developing eight railway over-bridges in the state under PPP mode. The total investment is around Rs.251 crore. The semi-annual annuity payable will be Rs.21.99 crore for 15 years. The concession period is 17.5 years including construction period of 2.5 years.

NHAI has invited bids for four-laning of Solapur-Vijayapura section of NH-13 (km 0.00 to km 110.00) in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The project will be executed on BOT-Toll basis on DBFOT pattern under NHDP-Phase III. The total value of the project is Rs.1,377.54 crore.

Kandla Port Trust has invited RfQ for operation and maintenance of a container terminal on PPP basis. The project comprises outsourcing of development, operation and maintenance activities of the container terminal of Berth Nos.11 & 12. It includes procuring additional equipment as well as repairing existing equipment, development of backup area, installation of electrical substation, and providing electrical and illumination system. The project is estimated to cost of Rs.159.81 crore excluding the cost of berth construction.

Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced that the much-delayed 272-km long Delhi-Jaipur Expressway would be completed by June 2015, now that funds for this project have been arranged. Eighty-five per cent of the work is complete. Out of 57 structures to be completed, which include flyovers, vehicle underpasses and pedestrian underpasses, 46 are ready while the remaining seven would be executed by the end of June.

Airports Authority of India has invited tenders for work at Surat Airport, Gujarat, namely re-carpeting, strengthening and extending runway 04/22 at the airport. The total value of this project is Rs.66.09 crore with a completion period of 18 months.
