According to Leander Paes, who won the recent US Open men’s doubles trophy to become the oldest male tennis player to do so, age is just a number to look at and smile. BJP veteran L.K. Advani, too, agrees with Paes and has asked him convince his partymen about this pathbreaking view on age.
One only hopes Sachin Tendulkar, who is reportedly contemplating retirement after playing his 200th test match, doesn’t read this news story lest he may get inspired to continue with his willow tricks lifelong! After all, Paes’ view cannot be made applicable to everyone because the tennis court is too small compared to the cricket ground.
Interestingly, our honourable Prime Minister, too, has a similar view — “Current account deficit is just a number to look at and smile!”
