Hindustan Latex Ltd is establishing a network of hospitals at rural and semi-urban areas in the country as part of its diversification plans.
HLL will set up hospitals in 500 villages by 2010. The first such hospital was set up in Maula Ali, Hyderabad. It has announced huge expansion programmes and is expecting to reach a turnover of reach Rs 10 billion by 2010. HLL is planning to come up with hospitals in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Uttaranchal under the Lifespring Hospital network.
