TTK Prestige to set up two factories

TTK Prestige will put up two new manufacturing facilities this year in Uttaranchal and Coimbatore with an investment of around Rs 20 crore. The investment in these two factories will be done through internal accruals.
The company is planning to close down its Bangalore factory, as it is a polluting unit, and instead set up some real estate projects.
The manufacturing equipment would be relocated to the Coimbatore factory which will start production in April 2006. The Uttaranchal unit would be commissioned by December this year. Pressure cooker, non-stick cooking utensils and other cookware will be manufactured in these factories.
