La Opala RG Ltd, a glass tableware manufacturer, is setting up a new production unit in Uttaranchal. The company has acquired about 25 acres of flat land at Sidcul Industrial Park in Sitaraganj area for establishing a 4,000-tonne capacity state-of-the-art La Opala glassware plant. The plant will be ready by next February.
The company will be introducing a number of new and innovative tableware products at the new plant. The company will be spending Rs 35 crore on this project. The project will be funded through internal accruals, equity capital and borrowings.
