Zangas-Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd consortium will lay pipeline of Section I of the Vijaipur-Kota pipeline project at an estimated cost of Rs. 32 crore. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2006.
In fact, Jaihind Projects Ltd, Ahmedabad, had emerged as the L1 bidder for both Sections I and II of the pipeline project. However, GAIL's Technical Committee found that JPL is qualified for only Section II. JPL was awarded the work of laying the pipeline for Section II of the pipeline project at an estimated cost of Rs 29 crore.2
