Kolkata to get

PM News Bureau

The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority plans to construct two flyovers in Kolkata. One flyover will connect Howrah bridge and the second flyover will connect ITC Sonar Bangla Hotel and Paroma Island on Eastern Bypass. The first flyover is estimated to cost Rs 100 crore while the cost of the other flyover will be Rs 400 crore. Both these projects will be implemented under the National Urban Renewal Mission of the Central government. KMDA is awaiting approval from the West Bengal government.
