Haryana to build Rs 213 cr. canal

A Business Correspondent

Haryana will construct a 64-km long canal with initial capacity of 500 cusecs of water at a cost of Rs 213 crore to meet future requirement of water in the NCR falling in the state. The canal has been planned in view of the projected requirement of drinking water and that of industry up to 2021 in the NCR. The new canal will take off from Delhi branch of Kakroi village in Sonepat district and run up to Budhera village in Gurgaon.
