New-Delhi based A.C. Humidification Engineers (P) Ltd manufactures industrial air pollution control equipment and ventilation systems. Some of the products are centrifugal blower (backward curved), centrifugal blower (forward curved), axial flow fan, roof extractor, bifurcated fan, tunnel ventilation, man cooler, spray painting booth, air washer pad type and spray type, cellulose pad, fume hood, spot humidifier, filter, dust collection system, fume extraction system, green house/poultry shed ventilation, ventilation system, odor control system, humidification system for air evaporation, etc.
The brand for the products is Humidin. Currently, the company has orders worth of Rs one crore. The turnover is around Rs nine crore. In the next two years, it plans to touch Rs 10 crore to Rs 12 crore of the turnover.
One of their innovative products is odor control system. Launched four years ago, the company imports the product from Canada. Hardly occupying 2x2 ft space, the product comes in various models. Equipped with spray nossil, control machine and timer, it is used for absorbing odor. Costing less than a lakh, the product is best suitable for hospitals, hotels and odor emanating factories. The solution, which is sprayed to absorb odor, is 100 per cent natural oil. Depending on odor density, one can run the product either continuously or at frequent intervals in a day.
"If odor density is more, it's better to run the product continuously," suggests Venu Gopal, Manager-Marketing. Depending on requirement, one can opt for one litre to 20 litre solution capacity odor control system. The company has supplied the products to educational institutes like AIMS and to companies like Moser Baer.
Another product, which the company imports, is a cooling pad (cellulose pad) used for air-cooling. The company exports its products to Sri Lanka, South Africa and Nigeria. It has exported poultry shed ventilation to Nigeria and South Africa and dust collectors to Sri Lanka.
Another innovative product is spray-painting booth, pollution control equipment commonly used by helmet manufacturers and manufacturers working with wood. "This product doesn't harm the labour and doesn't pollute surrounding environment," says Gopal. Scrubber System can be used to absorb harmful particles from the smoke being emanated from factories. The humidifier product is used in cold storages.
The company's manufacturing unit is located in Delhi. Serving the market for more than 20 years, the products are increasingly used by air-conditioner manufactures, hospitals, malls, staircase ventilation, DG sets rooms, corridor ventilation, basements, car parks and tunnel ventilation.
The prestigious clients include Blue Star, ABB etc. The company also sells its products through contractors and consultants. To further popularise its industrial ventilation and pollution control equipment, the company takes part in exhibitions and advertises its products.
