Chennai trust to upgrade Shirdi

The Chennai-based Shirdi Sai Trust will take up projects in
the temple town of Shirdi, Maharashtra, to provide facilities for devotees like
accommodation, cafeteria, shops, open-air theatre, security building, bus
shelters and children’s park.
Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, will provide land for the project,
christened Sai Ashram, while Shirdi Sai Trust will construct and fund the
various projects. The latter has appointed Dorsch Consult India as consultant.
Dorsch’s brief includes review of designs, review of tenders and construction
management of construction work.
The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 50 crore. The project will be
completed in two years time. After completion, it would be maintained and
managed by Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust.
