Damodar Valley Corporation and Coal India Ltd, in a joint development, plan to revive Mining and Allied Machinery Corporation in Durgapur, West Bengal. DVC and CIL have submitted a draft proposal and will set for a detailed plan once the MoU is signed. The proposal is at the conceptual stage.
The investment part will be finalised after the SPV inviting multiple investors is floated. China Mining Engineering Equipment Company has evinced interest in joining the Coal India-DVC consortium for the project.
