Globus Spirits Ltd, the Noida-based IMFL and industrial alcohol company, intends to hike its capacity over the next 12 months. The company will expand the capacity of its distillation plants located at Samalkha, Haryana, and Behror, Rajasthan, from 28.8 million bl to 49.8 million bl. The company will add captive power of 2 mw at each distillery by using biogas and biomass as fuel. It hopes to invest more than Rs 760 million in eight to nine months and Rs 1 billion in the next 12 months. GSL may raise funds for the project through an IPO.
