Dahiwali-Pune pipeline project



Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas

Whereas by notification of Government of India in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas No.S.O. No.99 dated January 8, 2007, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of Users in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central government declared its intention to acquire the right of user in the land specified in the schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of laying pipeline for transport of natural gas through Dahiwali to Pune pipeline project in Maharashtra by Gail (India) Ltd; And whereas copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public from May 25, 2007, to June 6, 2007;
And whereas no objections were received from the public to the laying of the pipeline;
And whereas the competent authority has, under sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act, submitted its report to the Central government;
And whereas the Central Government has, after considering the said report, decided to acquire the right of user in the lands specified in the schedule;
