Feasibility study for three bypasses in TN

The ministry of shipping, road transport and highways has approved a sum of Rs 30.22 lakh for consultancy services for feasibility studies and preparation of detailed project reports for construction of bypasses in three towns in Tamil Nadu.
An amount of Rs 12.35 lakh has been approved for a feasibility study for construction of a bypass to Pullyanpatti town at km 202/0-210/0 of NH-209. This town is a major industrial and agricultural market centre.
A sum of Rs 10.68 lakh has been approved for a feasibility study and preparation of DPR for construction of a bypass to Annur town at km 189/0 of NH-209. This road is a major route to hill towns like Thalavadi Ansanur and Kollegal and surrounding villages to nearby market centres in Coimbatore and Erode.
Further, a feasibility study has also been approved for construction of a bypass to Pollachi town at km 115/0-122/0 on the same highway at a cost of Rs 7.19 lakh.
