Nagarjuna wins orders in Hisar and Thane
Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd has secured two new orders
aggregating Rs 307 crore.
The first order, valued at Rs 230 crore, is from Dakshin Haryana Bijli Nigam
Ltd, Haryana, for supply of material and erection of new 11kV single circuit
lines for high voltage distribution system in Hisar. The turnkey contract will
be completed over a period of 12 months.
The second order is from Thane Municipal Corporation, Maharashtra, for a water
supply scheme valued at Rs 77 crore, to be completed in 27 months.
NCCL has also bagged an order valued at Omani Riyals 56.549 million (around Rs
570 crore) from the Government of Oman for the 7.5-km Wadi Adai Al Amerat Road
project. The road will be supported by six bridges, nine box culverts and one
single-lane bridge. The road passing through mountainous terrain will involve
rock cutting of 6.3 million cubic metres, according to a company statement. The
contract is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
