Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Ltd have formed an equal JV to expedite PPP for setting up transmission lines for state power projects. The shareholders' agreement for the new company, Powergrid IL&FS Transmission Pvt. Ltd, was signed on January 11. The JV will facilitate project preparation and development work for state transmission utilities.
