Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd plans to commence work on its phosphoric acid and di-ammonium phosphate manufacturing unit at Kapasan in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan by July this year.
RCF (51 per cent) in joint venture with Rajasthan State Mines & Minerals Ltd (49 per cent) will implement the project through a special purpose vehicle, Rajasthan Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers. The plant will have a capacity of 850 tpd, entailing an investment of Rs 700-800 crore.
Currently, land acquisition for the project is under way and the company is awaiting necessary approvals from the state government. Financial closure for the project is expected by August 2008. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2010.
